Denise Anderson

As a child, I often roamed around my family’s home rearranging the bowls displayed on our china cabinet, repositioning the photo frames on the mantel, and hiding away anything that shouldn’t be out on a counter. In middle school, when my grandfather (a bookbinder) gave me a Letraset catalog of typefaces, I was fascinated. I studied the letterforms for hours and copied the letter styles onto my handcrafted cards and invitations. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was “art directing,” “lettering,” and launching my life’s mantra. The philosophy of “design everything” reflects my unwavering pursuit of simple, fresh, and aesthetic design to clarify, inspire, and delight.
